Balayage

For those who desire a customized, sun-kissed look that enhances their hair’s natural beauty but want a low-maintenance hair color service. Balayage creates soft, natural-looking highlights that blend seamlessly with your base hair color. The word "balayage" comes from the French word meaning "to sweep" or "to paint", which accurately describes how the color is applied. The technique allows for a more gradual transition between shades, mimicking the natural way hair lightens in the sun. It's highly customizable based on your hair length, texture, and personal style preferences. It can be applied to any hair color and length, from blonde to brunette to red, and works on both light and dark hair shades. It's versatile enough to create both subtle and bold looks. Balayage typically requires less maintenance than traditional highlighting techniques because the color grows out naturally without a noticeable root line. This means fewer touch-up appointments are needed.

Foil Highlights

For those seeking defined and vibrant highlights. Foil highlights offer precise and controlled placement of color, making them suitable for achieving both natural and dramatic effects depending on the client's preferences. Depending on the desired result and your hair's natural color and texture, the foils are left in place for a specific amount of time. Foils help to trap heat and enhance the processing of the color or bleach, which can accelerate the lightening process. By enclosing each strand in foil, the stylist has precise control over how light or dark each highlight will turn out. Overall this allows the color or bleach to develop and lighten the hair to the desired shade. While they typically require more maintenance than balayage due to the more noticeable regrowth line, they remain a popular choice for those seeking defined and vibrant highlights.

Reverse Balayage: Hand Painted Lowlights

For those who feel like their hair has gotten too light and are looking to add some depth and dimension to their hair color. It is a great option for those looking to reduce the amount of grey in their hair but don’t want to commit to regular touch-ups. Unlike traditional balayage, which focuses on adding lighter tones or highlights to the hair, reverse balayage involves strategically placing darker shades or lowlights. These darker hues could range from warm browns to cool chocolates, deep caramels, or even soft blacks, depending on the desired effect. Like traditional balayage, the color is applied by hand using sweeping motions which allows for a seamless blend and a natural-looking transition between the base color and the darker shades. Also like traditional balayage, reverse balayage typically requires less maintenance compared to foil highlights as the darker shades blend more naturally with the hair’s growth pattern. The result of reverse balayage is hair that appears more textured, multidimensional, and with added depth due to the darker shades strategically placed within the hair.

ROOT TOUCH UP & REFRESH SHINE GLOSS

Root touch-ups are a convenient solution for maintaining hair color and managing regrowth between full coloring appointments. A root touch-up conceals or minimizes the appearance of new hair growth, often where the natural hair color has begun to show through. This is common between hair coloring appointments when the roots start to become noticeable The frequency of root touch-ups depends on factors such as the client's natural hair growth rate, desired look, and the type of hair color used (permanent, semi-permanent, etc.). Generally, root touch-ups are recommended every 4-6 weeks to maintain a consistent hair color appearance. Overall it ensures that the hair remains vibrant and uniform in color, enhancing overall appearance and confidence.

We use a custom blended formula of color to touch up the roots and balance out the rest of the hair. Then we finish with a healing glossing to enhance tone and shine.
