COVID-19 Safety

MASKS ARE OPTIONAL IN MOST CASES:  It will be a personal choice whether one wears a mask to take protective measures for their own health while in the salon.  Masks will remain available upon request.  It is recommended that staff and guests concerned about their own exposure should wear a N95/KN95 mask.

When are masks not optional? If a guest chooses to keep their scheduled appointment yet is experiencing non-chronic respiratory symptoms (stuffy nose, cough, sore throat), had known direct COVID exposure, or a positive COVID test in the past 10 days we respectfully require a mask be worn while in the salon.

Guests are required to mask when:

  • If they have respiratory symptoms and tested negative for COVID-19.

  • If a guest has seasonal allergies that has respiratory issues that make other guests feel uncomfortable we may ask the guest to wear a mask.,

  • If they had a known direct contact Covid exposure within the last 5 days.

  • If they tested positive for COVID-19 within the 5 to 10 days before their appointment.

Staff members are required to mask:

  • If they have respiratory symptoms.

  • If a member of their household has a positive COVID-19 test.

  • if a member has recently returned from a COVID-19 absence until 5 days have passed.

  • If a guest requests that the staff wear a mask while working with them during their visit.

CANCEL IF SICK: Please cancel your appointment if you are:

  1. Displaying flu-like symptoms, or

  2. Have tested positive for COVID-19 within the past 5 days.

We thank you in advance for this consideration for our stylists and other guests. The 24-hour cancellation policy still applies in a client illness scenario.  Please reach out to the salon if you have any questions.

SANITATION: Sanitation procedures will be performed as required by the State of MI Cosmetology licensing division. Hand sanitizer will be available upon entry and at every stylist station. We strongly encourage guests to use hand sanitizer upon entry.

We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 atmosphere and adjust our policies accordingly.
